Any complex project can be completed efficiently if you tackle one task at a time. This is the basic principle behind Things. It allows you to create To-do lists and it can keep track of individual tasks and display notifications for upcoming or due items. The application is straightforward from any point of view. Everything, from creating a task to setting up a recurring schedule can be done with only a few simple clicks.

Tasks are organized on a user interface, in several sections, which can be accessed via navigation tabs, located on the left side. You may create or collect tasks in the Inbox section and, depending on how you tweak them, they will appear in other sections as well. Typing a name is sufficient if you wish to create a new task, but you can also assign tags, add notes, set up a due date and a recurrence.

Besides creating tasks on the application's user interface, you can also use a quick input system, if you don't want to bring up Things on your screen. A quick entry window can be displayed instantly, at any time, through the use of a hotkey. You can name your task, tag it and schedule it on this window, just like on the main interface. Alternatively, you can select a piece of text and use another hotkey, for the application's autofill feature. This will copy the selected text and paste it in a new task automatically, along with a link to the source.

Things doesn't limit you to creating and scheduling tasks. It comes with other interesting features, which you may customize in the general settings panel. One of them is the possibility of integrating the application with an iPhone. As a result, Siri will remind you of upcoming tasks. Another useful feature is the Things Cloud service, which you can use to synchronize your tasks across multiple devices.

Pros

Tasks can be created and organized on the fly. The application provides you with a quick input system. It can send reminders to an iPhone and it can also synchronize them through a cloud service.

Cons

There are no serious issues to mention. No matter how complex is your project, Things will help you complete it in an efficient manner.
